In early 2024, our founder Charles Xue sat in a Bandung coffee shop ("KopasAI"), watching the owner struggle to manage 300+ WhatsApp orders while also serving customers in person. The friction was palpable.
We decided to build the "Brains" that could handle the chaos. We named our AI assistant KopasAI—a tribute to those roots and a promise of energy, friendliness, and local service.
